On Saturday, halloween, we were invited to a couple Fall Festivals so we decided to dress the kids and pack them up to stop by the events. This was our first year doing anything like this with the kids. The church who hosted the first event we went to was so much fun that we ended up staying there the entire evening.
They had a live band of young people singing praise music (they were REALLY good!), bounce houses galore, trunk or treating, free food, raffles, a train ride and tons of games for the kids to play.
The boys each played that game where you throw the ball and knock the guy into the water and each of them ended up knocking him in! I have no idea what it's called-it must have a name! They thought it was SO funny! Jeremiah and I loved watching them have so much fun!
The boys also miniture golfed and did pretty well for their first time. I was really surprised.
Aliya was such a good girl and spent a lot of time in her stroller. Thankfully I didn't forget to bring it this time! She loved riding on the train with me and when she realized her big brothers were on it too she was ecstatic! She would squeal out "Noah" when they were in sight!
I think the highlight of Jeremiahs night was when we won the prizes. he is a freak of nature I tell you. We had 5 tickets with different numbers on them and he had them all memorized. While he was over playing musical chairs with Noah to win some cupcakes he shouted over to me "Suzi we won!". Now how did he know that? I had the tickets with me! Not to mention i couldn't even hear the numbers being called. But sure enough I ran up there to get our prize-he was right! Two times that happened!
By the time we were ready to leave the festival we had won a bunch of stuff from the raffle. The board game Life, the card game Uno Extreme and fresh store bought cupcakes! Not to mention that we also walked away with two huge bags of candy!
It was about 8 when we left the festival and decided to end the night at Chuck E Cheeses. We ordered some pizza (because 1 hot dog and a small bag of chips wasn't very filling-we're good eaters) and played lots of games. It was a great night-lots of memories were made.

Joshy got SOAKED! I love the look on his face! HA!

This couple was stinkin' hilarious. I asked "Adam and Eve" if I could take their pic!
